Thermal cooling is controlled with HeiQ ADAPTIVE, a thermoregulating technology that transports moisture and heat away from your body. The SlumberCool® Mattress Protector will help towards ensuring your night's sleep is free of clammy discomfort.

Initially designed for clothing, HeiQ Adaptive is a miracle worker for bedding. It causes the fibres in the fabric to change shape in response to heat or cold, allowing for a perfect level of insulation and evaporation. This unique fabric responds to each microclimate, making it perfect for a shared sleep space. Adaptive means a cooler bed and more comfortable rest.

This luxurious cooling mattress protector protects against dust mites, bacteria and allergens while Breathe-a-Barrier® provides a water resistant barrier and has breathable laminate technology formulated to facilitate the flow of air without absorbing liquids.

A comforting luxurious Jacquard fabric is combined with breakthrough thermoregulation treatment resulting in an outstanding level of comfort and protection.

HieQ Adaptive enhances the wearers comfort, complements the skin’s natural moisture transport and controls thermal cooling. It causes the fibres in the fabric to change shape in response to heat or cold, allowing for a perfect level of insulation and evaporation.

Have bought quite a few mattress protectors over the years, but this is by far the best one ever. Well worth the money as I have paid as much for other ones of poorer quality. It fits the bed perfectly and feels very substantial and would definitely but from you again, well worth the money

Bought this as I have night sweats every night and have to Change my night cloths and and put a towel on the bed over night as my bedding is soaking wet ,since I’ve had this mattress cover I’ve only had to cover the bed overnight once so has improved my nights so much

I always sleep "hot", even in the middle of winter! My husband calls me his TND ( thermonuclear device). The room is cool and only a 3 tog duvet in the winter and a 1 tog duvet in the summer. Natural fibre extremely expensive bed, pure cotton quilted bed and pillow protectors and Egyptian cotton sheet...I am still too hot and therefore do not sleep well. I was a bit sceptical about this product, but I have to say I am much cooler and sleep better. I have just bought the Slumber Cool pillow protectors as well.

The cover looks and feels good- I had high hopes when I saw the snow flake pattern printed on it. But I am disappointed. It may have a slight cooling effect, though not enough to be clearly detectable. But I noticed straight away that I felt more clammy on it than on a standard mattress cover, in fact after the first night, my night clothes were wringing wet. This was in December, not one of the Summer months! Rather than taking away the moisture to keep you dry, it seems to retain it, perhaps because of the plastic backing. I will be looking for another solution.

Can this be used on top of a microfibre mattress protector?

The Slumber Cool Climate Control Mattress Protector can  be used over a microfibre mattress protector.

Can this product be used on a Sealy pocket sprung mattress with a latex layer (Sealy Nostromo)?

The open cell structure of a latex mattress offers good ventilation, so the mattress cover used on this type of mattress also needs to be breathable to enjoy its cooling effect. The climate control mattress protector provides this breathability so it can be used on a latex mattress.

Can this product be used with a mattress with a mattress topper made from natural fibres?

Yes, it can. The only type it is unsuitable to be used on is memory foam.

We do not recommend using on a gel top mattress and yes, this product offers proven dust mite, bacteria and allergen protection.

It depends on what your Tempur mattress is made from. The SlumberCool Climate Control Mattress Protector is not recommended for use alongside a memory foam mattress.

How thick is this mattress topper?

The product in question is not a mattress topper, it is a mattress protector.

It is recommended to place a sheet on top of the protector, rather than sleeping directly on the protector.

The SlumberCool® Climate Control Mattress Protector is machine washable at 40 degrees.

hi why wont this work with memory foam? my mattrass has 2" memory on top of an ordinary mattrass all built in but it gets too hot this looks good? thank you

Under the guidance of the manufacturer they do not recommend using the SlumberCool Climate Control Mattress Protector with a Memory Foam Bed or Mattress Topper due to  the materials and fabrics used in the protector.

Do they fit deep mattresses as I have that is approx 28cm deep not all protectors and sheets git my bed it a struggle to find one that fits.

Elasticated skirt fits depth up to approx. 33cm

Does this have skirt sides or elastic straps? Skirt sides tend to slip, so I prefer an elastic strap on each corner.

This Mattress Protector has a skirted surround.
