The Chillow is cold and comfortable but does not stay cold during sleep which was the Idea of me buying one as I wake several times during the night, it does help me to drop off to sleep though,
Very briefly the pillow does everything it is supposed to do. Since buying the pillow I have slept better,been more comfortable and have not suffered head sweats.Well worth the money.

It also re-cools just by lying it down uncovered on a hard surface. I am undergoing chemotherapy and it has really helped me cope with my hot flushes. At last I can cool down and get some sleep and if I am awoken by another flush I just pick up the chillow place it in a pillow case and I go back off to sleep. I purchased the Chillow for my mother who has great difficulty sleeping because she gets too hot. From she started using the chillow she has been able to sleep very comfortably each night as the chillow has kept her temperature down. She has also found that she can put it over her legs during the day to alleviate the tired legs syndrome that she suffers from. She has also told me that she had it behind her back when she was sitting down and noticed that the pain in her back settled down a good bit too. It's fair to she that she is delighted with it and I am delighted that she has found so many uses for it and not just for her sleeping problems which was my reason for purchasing it.

Unlike the Original Chillow, the ChillowPlus offers “two-way cooling”. So if your head is on one side, your hands can be tucked under keeping them cool as well.
