Below is a summary of the report highlighting the key benefits of Ionx.
Research by leading sleep experts at Columbia University Drs. M Terman and JS Terman has shown that negatively charged ions have a positive effect on people suffering from seasonal affective disorder (SAD). The negative ions increase brain wave amplitude and they promote alpha waves. These waves spread across both sides of the brain and create an overall calming effect helping us to enter deep sleep quicker.
Negative ions also increase the levels of two important hormones in the brain, Serotonin and Melatonin. Serotonin helps promote a ‘happy feeling’ and reduces tension leading to a more relaxed sleep state. Serotonin has positive effects on other areas of the body including:

The specially developed IonX fabric has negative ions permanently built into the fibre structure, so the effect will not wash out. Goodnighties sleepwear is also anti-microbial, meaning that if you suffer from night sweats, you'll find that you won't need to wash your Goodnightie quite as often as your normal sleepwear, as the fabric works to wick moisture away from your body leaving you feeling fresher.
