The matress topper is very cool for a few hours but heats up with your body temperature to hotter than a normal mattress so it is wise to sleep on one half then move to the fresh half half was through the night.

I suffer from RLS and can spent ages fidgiting before I can get to sleep. Since placing the cool pad I have had no problems getting to sleep. At first I put it on top of the fitted sheet but it made my duvet slide about so now I have it under the sheet and it is so comfortable that I don't notice it. Early days but it looks as though it will be well worth the money.

I have struggled for years trying to get a good night's sleep. At last I have found the cool pad topper for the bed. Before i go to bed I place the topper in the fridge for half an hour and then lay it on top of the fitted sheet and oh my is it good. I have slept so wel since i got it, now would sleep a good 8 hours. Before this i would only have slept about 3 hours. Love this product and would recommend it all the bad sleepers out there.

it takes 4 to 5 days to get used to sleeping on the gel mattress, the first night i couldnt get to sleep as it felt so cold, but got used to it and within a few days i was having no problems,, the chill factor only lasts for about 2 hours, its a large mat, so be crafty, position yoursef to one side, if you wake up you can then turn over to the other side doubling up your `chill` time i am sleeping so much better, have reccomended it to a few `ladies of a certain age` and all are eager to try the mat, this site is the cheepest i found for this product. it is very very heavy which surprised me, but hey ho, it works that the main thing, money well spent

Does it fit a double size bed.
The Personal Cooling Company advise their Cool Pads should stay cool long enough for you to get to sleep. However individual’s body heat varies considerably so there is no hard and fast rule on how long the cool pad will remain cool. On average however they would expect the Cool Pad to stay cool to the touch for up to two hours.
I can also confirm the Cool Pad Mattress Topper only comes in one size, measuring 140cm x 95cm.
