I just went 50/50 on a caravan with my dear old dad. We were agreed on everything apart from I wanted a fixed bed in the van and my dad didn't want to waste all that space in the van with a bed. We always put the awning up and I suggested that we make our bedroom in the awning. We needed something comfortable, portable and of normal bed height (as my dad is now officially an OAP!). Typically I always hated air beds, your pillows shoot off the end of the bed, they take ages to inflate and deflate and also you sink and lollop about on them often headbutting your partner in the middle of the night! When I saw the Platinum Raised bed with Headboard, it sounded too good to be true. We ordered one from Slumber, Slumber and it arrived within 48hrs. The test run showed the bed fully inflated in just under 5 minutes, no hassle just plugged it in and hey presto one FULL SIZE KING bed in an instant. The headboard is all part of the bed and inflates at the same time and means my pillows stay ON the bed all night. The aerobed has some kind of coil system which means that when I lay on my side, I stay there and it doesn't want to roll you both to the middle of the bed!. Deflation was simple and even quicker! Thanks to this bed I've kept my dad happy with his choice of caravan and I have a bigger and more comfortable bed that I could have ever had in a caravan! 5 stars for this item and with a 5 year warranty we've got total peace of mind. 31st May, 2010
